Random Kingdom is a French nonprofit association that brings together a community of emerging artists across Europe.
Our artistic universe is steeped in fantasy, drawing inspiration from science fiction, RPG video game aesthetics, and medievalism, where the Middle Ages serve as a mythic backdrop rather than a historical reality. Through quests across Europe, we enrich our shared imaginary world with intricate stories, languages, characters, symbols, artifacts, maps, and costumes.
Celebrating inclusivity and collaboration, these quests combine workshops, exhibitions, performances, and poetry, providing playful and immersive experiences for artists and the public alike. They create a vibrant stage where visual art, storytelling, live-action role play, and soundscapes converge, inviting participants into an interactive realm of creativity.
In Random Kingdom, the veil between the virtual and real blurs as we construct alternative identities, celebrating hybridity and community. By invoking mythological themes and ancestral practices, we explore new perspectives on healing, love, and collective transformation in the digital age. Fiction becomes a powerful tool for connection, encouraging participants to reimagine their inner and outer kingdoms.
